Cajas National Park is a natural area located in the province of Azuay. It consists of 29,000 hectares of Andean moorland and about 786 bodies of water. It has an extensive network of trails that wind along the Polylepis forests and connect with the crystalline lagoons and wide valleys. The area offers fun activities such as boating, kayaking and camping. 💡Curiosities: A rich biodiversity is preserved here, including endemic birds, such as the blue-breasted hummingbird.
